Day 30: Summer

Well, it's about that time again. When the sun is out, the birds are flying around, kids are running around freely, and the mosquitoes are biting you like Golden Corral. I'm talking about Winter-- no, I'm just kidding; Summertime. The time where kids don't have to wake up early to get to school on time. No need for homework, no projects unless it's for your own recreation, a legit time to get some ice cream and to go swimming. Basically, just going outside, taking in a MASSIVE whiff of air and going "AHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!" (or choking on all that air you've just inhaled or being stung by a mosquito, bee, honey bee, bumblebee, yellow jacket, wasp, or a horsefly). Yep, sure is nice to feel the heat of the sun being forced onto you as you cook near an open flame making dogs or burgers on a grill that might cause an accident. After that, you can sit on a lawn chair around a bonfire or above a skin cancer-radiating sun as the kids are jumping into the swimming pool wizzing in it or going to need CPR or a funeral arrangement because some idiot thought that kid could swim even though they kept screaming " I CAN'T SWIM!!!" over 80 times.

That, or you can just spend all of your summer indoors watching reruns of the same show over and over again or be on the XBOX ONE, PS4, or PC playing Fortnite trying to get that triple kill while a bully hunter is targeting the person that decided to insult the wimpy girl (that is sensitive about what people say about her and is thinking about commiting suicide every single day and playing games helps her calm down). Even though the bully hunter already eliminated the bully, someone else already shot the bully hunter in the head along with the girl that called in the bully hunter and keeps managing to shoot at her every time she respawns. Meanwhile, you're in a house just watching it all as the virtual storm passes by and your days of summer begin to slip by you.

Yep, summer sure is great. This has been 326.9 The Singe. I hope your summer is better than mine, or else I'll find you and tell you "I told you so". I GUARANTEE IT!
